With 750 years of successful tradition, the history of the St. Dominic’s Fair goes back to the year 1260, when it was established by the decree of Pope Alexander IV. It began as a religious holiday, but eventually grew into a trade and cultural event with important significance for the city of Gdańsk, Poland.

In the spirit of the original fair, the Polish American Cultural Center in Slavic Village will hold the first St. Dominic’s Fair in Cleveland on Sunday, August 4th from Noon to 6pm at 6501 Lansing Ave, CLE 44105.
