Rooms To Let: CLE Returns to Slavic Village for a Fourth Year and this year, the Polish American Cultural Center at 6501 Lansing Avenue will act as the event epicenter. There, attendees will find an artisan market, maker village, ethnic food, a beer garden, live music, and parking. Musical performances on Saturday by HoneyBucket Doc Robinson, The Admirables, P.Stoops, and on Sunday by Mourning [A] Blkstr, Curtail, and Seany Cash. Vacant lots will be transformed with art installations and create the setting for hands-on activities. Dozens of artists and makers will create works in vacant homes and vacant lots—the homes are slated for demolition.
The event takes place Saturday and Sunday, May 20 and 21, from 12pm-5pm. Spring has sprung and we want to invite all of you to Come Out & Play at the May Walkabout Tremont. The event takes place the second Friday of each month, with this month’s Walkabout happening on Friday, May 12 from 5 PM – 10 PM in the Tremont neighborhood (nice interactive map at that link!).
It’ll be Walkabout Tremont’s first birthday, and we’re taking it back to the streets with live entertainment, a student art show, outdoor vendors, food & drink specials, and more! Horse and carriage rides, provided by Shamrock Carriages, will be available from 7:30pm-9:30pm, and as we get more info, we’ll be posting it.
